How to Share a File or Folder in Sharepoint
The following instructions describe how to share a file or folder in Sharepoint through the web.
- Right-click the file or folder and click Share.

- Either type in the names of the people you want to share with and select what permission (edit or view) you want to assign to them and then click Send, OR do steps 3-5 to Copy a link to share with.

- Click the link above to edit how you want to share a link, if you'd rather share a link instead of Sending a message.

- Choose how you want to share the link and what permission you want the person or people receiving the link to have. Click Apply.

- Click "Copy link" and share as needed.
